What are Learning Communities?
- Learning Communities are a one-year training program for emerging urban leaders and church planters, 1-2 years out from planting new congregations or Gospel-centered expressions of the Church. As a Learning Community, we commit to reading and discussing an insightful book each month in the areas of discipleship, spiritual & character formation, as well as ministry & leadership skills development.
We have locations hosted in:
- Long Beach
- San Diego
- Los Angeles
- Ventura
- Orange County/Santa Ana
- & more!
Why CTCLA Learning Communities?
- The Church is declining in urban centers, amplifying the need for new churches.
- Those called to plant new churches often feel ill-equipped and alone in the calling.
- City to City L.A. helps develop and deploy missional leaders from urban contexts to plant churches that engage the de-churched and the unchurched.
- Through the year-long Learning Communities and the 2-year Incubator program, we train, assess, connect, and launch church planters into neighborhoods throughout Southern California.
